I love running the 3200! It was hard the first time I ran it, but this time was totally different. I was tempted to go out with the fastest pack, but I stayed with the middle pack for the first mile and a half. Then I decided I was gonna make my move and I did. I ended up with a 25 second PR! The difference in my race today was that I told myself that running was fun (cuz it is:) and that I was totally mentally prepared for my race. I tried to smile while I ran (its harder than it looks lol) and it help me release tension and help me remeber that I absolutley love to run even though it is hard sometimes, it&#39;s definitley worth it:) GO RUNNING!!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> Sat, 22 Apr 2017 06:00:00 Fri, Apr 21, 2017 <p>AM: Rest</p> <p>PM: 4 miles easy</p> <p>Went and watched the Dixie Invite and man, the girls CRUSHED IT!!!!! We found like a million bees burrowing into the ground and we almost got attacked but we made it somehow:) we had lots of great convos about boys, IQ levels, and mental exercise hahaha. It was actually a really weird race but it was good. I had an outdoor PR by 2 seconds but I went out really fast. I need to work on my form a little and my race strategy but I really love running and hope to improve myself rather than comparing myself to others. It was my first 32 and holy crap that was the longest, hardest race I have ever run. It was kinda frustrating mentally and I fell behind. But after this race I realized that I&#39;m not gonna have a good race every week and that everyone has bad days or races. But I am grateful for the hard races&nbsp;so that when the good races come I am much more appreciative of them and use them to push myself harder. I love running so much!!</p> <p>Oh yeah, preference was a BLAST! Thanks Mikey! We just started running at threshold pace, then when coach would blow the whistle we would all surge. I stayed with the group until the last lap then I fell off a little bit, but that&#39;s ok, tomorrow is a new day! And then we went on a 1 mile cooldown. It was raining while we ran and it was AMAZING!! Although it was not the fastest time, it was an outdoor PR, and mentally I felt really strong during the race. It was one of the first races in a long time that actually felt fun instead of stressful. Thought that workout was gonna be a lot harder than it was! We did grass repeats at a 3:15 pace and it felt real good. I ran with Serra and Chloe and the last repeat we all kicked it and finished at a 3:07. Definatley a W today! Then, on our barefoot cool down,&nbsp;coach gave us a life lesson about boys. Holy cow. This workout was rough! Me, Bailey and, Chloe did the workout together because of work, and it was a really good push. My legs were still kinda tight from racing on Friday but it was felt good to go fast again:) I did my very best and it felt so good! I love running!!
