AM: 7 miles: 3.75 mi warm-up, 15 min tempo, and cooldown for mileage
Today was an AMAZING RUN!! We did our warm-up and then started our tempo. We went about a 6:35-6:40 pace. I felt awesome because I made sure that I was in it mentally. Usually I am ok the first half then I fall off, but we all stayed as a pack until minute 13 then we started spreading a little. I was able to finish right behind Bailey and it felt really good;) I told myself that I can do anything that my amazing teammates can do and that my best would be good enough. It worked! My biggest focus this year is going to be mentally strong through the good and the bad and to always do my best although it will vary from day to day. I love running:)
