Tried to do a morning run.....did a mile then I had to stop because I was getting weird pains in my knees....

4TH PERIOD: 1 mile

Did the PE mile....tied with Bailey *dab* We finished with a stunning time of 6:52 lol. What a good time.

PM: 7 miles

Our team ran the BHNP loop and it was a kind of difficult run to be honest. I feel like my legs are just shutting down. I'm getting new shoes tho so that should help out:) Although it's hard sometimes I still love to run!!

AM: Slept in...oops missed the 3 miles but did weights

PM: 7 miles- interval workout

Today Bailey, Sam, Hailey, and I did the 3200 girls workout. I actually felt really accomplished and happy after I did it. We did an 800, 200, 200 then again 800, 200, 200 then we finished with a 600, 200, 200, and 200. It was really fun and on EVERY rep we got faster!! It was an awesome feeling that I can't really explain. I found my best for a few seconds I guess...pure awesome!!

Also I was reading Elite Minds (highly recommend, AMAZING) and one of the points it brought up was that great athletes and coaches don't separate the practice from the performance, and my goal for the rest of this week is to train with that mindset. Train like I race and just strive to find my best!

Running today was great. A lot of our girls were gone on a field trip tho! Ran with Anna, Lauren, Laynee, Lexi, Shawnee, Sam, and Lady Coach. T'was a good run and I heard many boy stories lol. It was very educational hahaha. Also I'm trying this new thing called eating healthy and it's real hard. 

Then I went to work and Anna B and I made a list of all the worst things I've ever's never a dull moment lemme tell ya:)

Yesterday was a good day for running:) We just had a chill run and talked. I am SOOOOOO excited to race at Cedar tomorrow!! All I can do is my best, and I'll be happy with it. Also I was reading Elite Minds again and it was talking about how success and happiness cannot be pursued, it has to ensue (Victor Frankl). I'm just gonna always do my best and have fun, then success and happiness will follow me. GO RUNNING!

PM: RACE!!!!

1 mile warm-up, 1 mile race, 1 mile cool-down

Today was the 1600 meter at Cedar. Man, I felt AMAZING! All I wanted to do was go out and have some fun, and I did! I've decided that I don't want to waste my time in life on things that don't make me or other people happy, and running hasn't been the most fun for the last little while because I was too caught up in comparing myself to others. But I changed my whole outlook on it and I've started (it's definitley a process) to just let go of all the judgements, expectations, and stereotypes and have learned to love myself, and stop basing my self-worth off of season bests and PR's. I raced with that attitude and guess what? I PR'ed! I'm starting to find my best because I'm not obsessing over it, and I love it! I LOVE RUNNING!!!  

Also, super excited to run the 800 tomorrow with my awesome teammates!

Way to go Lauren, Anna, Shawnee, Lex, and Laynee! And thanks for pumping me up!!

The race today was fun! It was really windy and started snowing and hailing, but it was still fun! I didn't PR, but that's ok. I almost won my race, but I surged too early and then a passed me in the last 25 meters. I'm glad it happend today though so that I can race smarter on Tuesday!! I'm super excited!
