Today we ran church rocks and I'm not gonna lie, it was rough! I kept coughing and couldn't breathe but next run will be better. We did go through this awesome tunnel tho!! Pretty cool. And later we had a grilled cheese off and it was very close battle..but I think I won by .1 of a point hahaha

Whohoo! Today was a pretty good day for running.  We did a surge/fartlek workout. It was like a race simulation for the 1600 and it was fun! I was able to stay up with the first group today:)

Yesterday was pretty gr8. Me, Bae Sue, and Chloe had to take the College Accuplacer test so we ran on our own. We found like a million bees burrowing into the ground and we almost got attacked but we made it somehow:) we had lots of great convos about boys, IQ levels, and mental exercise hahaha. It was good just to run and have fun with my homies

Went and watched the Dixie Invite and man, the girls CRUSHED IT!!!!! And Trin qualified for state! Whooohooo! It's getting to the exciting part of the season, and I'm ready to qualify for state and excited to run the 3200 tomorrow:)

PM: Went to work hahaha

WHOOOHOOO!!! I love running the 3200! It was hard the first time I ran it, but this time was totally different. I was tempted to go out with the fastest pack, but I stayed with the middle pack for the first mile and a half. Then I decided I was gonna make my move and I did. I ended up with a 25 second PR! The difference in my race today was that I told myself that running was fun (cuz it is:) and that I was totally mentally prepared for my race. I tried to smile while I ran (its harder than it looks lol) and it help me release tension and help me remeber that I absolutley love to run even though it is hard sometimes, it's definitley worth it:) GO RUNNING!!
