Holy cow. This workout was rough! Me, Bailey and, Chloe did the workout together because of work, and it was a really good push. My legs were still kinda tight from racing on Friday but it was felt good to go fast again:) I did my very best and it felt so good! I love running!!

AM: Yoga:)

PM: Me, Bailey, and Chloe ran 5.5 miles out in the Bone Yard and then came back and did 1.5 miles on the turf while we watched all of the races. Everyone did soooo good!! Then we finished up with 8x100 meter strides. Overall it was a good day.

AM: 3 miles + weights

PM: 2 mile warm-up, 6x800 meter repeats, 1 mile barefoot cool down.

Whew! Thought that workout was gonna be a lot harder than it was! We did grass repeats at a 3:15 pace and it felt real good. I ran with Serra and Chloe and the last repeat we all kicked it and finished at a 3:07. Definatley a W today! Then, on our barefoot cool down, coach gave us a life lesson about boys. Bravo coach, bravo.

Also I'm running the 1600 meters at Hurricane!! Can't wait!!

Yahooooo!! Today was a really easy 4 mile run! Felt good just to go for a fun run with my awesome friends! Ran with Chloe, Bailey, and Sam. Can't wait to run Hurricane tomorrow!! I am going to run a sub-5:30

Hurricane Invite!!! 

Whoooohooo! That was a good race! Although it was not the fastest time, it was an outdoor PR, and mentally I felt really strong during the race. It was one of the first races in a long time that actually felt fun instead of stressful. It's weird how your mind can play tricks on you when you are running...I'm reading Elite Minds right now (AMAZING BOOK) and it has helped me let go of other people's performances, and just focus on running my own race and being my best self, the best Macie I can be:) I LOVE RUNNING!!
