Personal:

I am a Junior at Desert Hills High School, and I love to run!! If I'm not running I like to swim, play basketball, football, and soccer, hang with my friends and fam, and eat at chick-fil-a. Ice cream is one of my fav things ever along with Zupas:)

Also I'm gonna be a world famous hurdler.

We ran the AZ strip today and it was actually a blast! It felt good to finally go out and start running again! We all pushed it in the last mile, felt amazing:)

We ran out by the pickleball courts and sunrise ridge today. It was fun but I was really tired and really flat. Glad I had my awesome teammates to push me when I'm having a hard day:)

AM: 6 miles with 1.25 mile tempo run

Today we ran at Warner Valley. We did a 3.5 mile warm-up then did a 1.25 tempo at approx 6:30 pace. It was kinda a push because we haven't done a tempo in a long while. It was hard and I got to a point during the tempo where I didn't know if I could keep going but my awesome and beautiful teammates kept me going:) i've realized on that run that if running is easy, there is no point in doing it. Learning to be unafraid of the pain allows you to be able to run more free and i am going to work on that this summer. I LOVE RUNNING

AM: 6 miles 

Today we ran Prospector on the executive loop (haha @lauren). Siri took us on the scenic route so me kylee and lauren got there 25 minutes late lol so we ran by ourselves. We may or may not have gotten lost multiple times:) It was definitley an adventure run. We finally found the rest of the girls. It was a really fun run and I am glad I have such funny and uplifting teamates

Whooohooo 4 miles felt real good! It was a great run to recover and just enjoy it. Also ALL of our new girls are doing FREAKING AMAZING!! Our pack will only get tighter and tighter as we get closer to the season. I am so excited to see how everyone will race!!

We ran the Zen trail today. I have never done it before so I made the mistake of agreeing to run there lol. It was actually a really cool run I just didn't prepare myself mentally for all those hills! We found the Lion King as well pretty quality. Bloomington Hills North Park run with Webb hill repeats today. it was a good push and I was able to stay up with the top pack so I'm improving a ton from last year! I'm sooooooooo excited to race!!

AM: 6 miles-15 min tempo run

Oops. Slept in. I hate when I do that cuz I have to run by myself. It was a tempo run and it was challenging but it was way fun. Running by myself helped me kinda gauge where I was at and it was refreshing. I went from 6:45-7:05 for the 15 mins. It made me realize too that running is DEFINITLEY a team sport! I love my team:)

Today we ran off Navajo drive. It was an awesome run today and running came easy. We had nice chats about our favorite coaches and the usual movie quotes and hamilton lol. We went about 7:45 pace

We did a 1 2 2 1 fartlek workout today at little valley park and the team did way good! Can't wait to race together!!

Me lily chloe and bae sue met up at the AZ strip to run. the first half of the run was good but it was slightly uphill the whole way back and a little tiring. I was sore from hiking and stuff but 'twas a good run

AM: 6 miles with 6x1 minute webb hill repeats

Today's run was pretty taxing but totally worth it. We did a warm-up to Webb Hill then when we got there we had 6 repeats and it was fun:) I love running hills so much:) bae sue and chloe really pushed me today and we were staying pretty close together. Having an awesome team to push me really helps me to find my best everyday. Thanks guys:)

Today we ran out in the bone yard and it was pretty quality. Me bae sue and chloe pushed the pace today and it made me feel amazing! Going faster on long runs is super awesome. Can't wait to wreck this season!!! It is gonna be sooooooo lit!! 

We also had kids camp today and I am soo proud of my team for winning the relay race!:) We had a fight as well today lol. never a dull moment:)

AM: 7 miles: 3.75 mi warm-up, 15 min tempo, and cooldown for mileage

Today was an AMAZING RUN!! We did our warm-up and then started our tempo. We went about a 6:35-6:40 pace. I felt awesome because I made sure that I was in it mentally. Usually I am ok the first half then I fall off, but we all stayed as a pack until minute 13 then we started spreading a little. I was able to finish right behind Bailey and it felt really good;) I told myself that I can do anything that my amazing teammates can do and that my best would be good enough. It worked! My biggest focus this year is going to be mentally strong through the good and the bad and to always do my best although it will vary from day to day. I love running:)

Today we ran in pine valley and man the weather was awesome! I love running in the mountains and getting away from everything. I ran with Haley most of the time today and she rocked it! The elevation made breathing kinda hard but we got through it. The team only got lost a couple times lol:) I can't wait to start racing!

AM: 5 miles with fartleks

Today we went to BHNP to do a fartlek workout. Twas a gr8 time and our girls team FREAKING KILLED IT!!! We had a real right pack up top and lots of girls right behind! Not only is our Varsity gonna do amazing, our JV is going to be UNSTOPPABLE! I'm so proud of everyone that comes out everyday and gives everything they have, I really appreciate it and it makes me want to work harder too!! GO TEAM!!!
