Personal:

I am a Junior at Desert Hills High School, and I love to run!! If I'm not running I like to swim, play basketball, football, and soccer, hang with my friends and fam, and eat at chick-fil-a. Ice cream is one of my fav things ever along with Zupas:)

Also I'm gonna be a world famous hurdler.

Dang. Today my legs hurt! After the first 2 miles they started to losen up tho and me, trin, kylee, lauren, anna, and haley had a very interesting chat about love triangles--yuck lol gotta luv running. I am soooo excited to run tomorrow!!!!!

Today was freaking amazing!!! I ran the one mile and two mile. The one mile was first and I was just excited to go out and run. I felt really good during my race and I was able to PR and win my race!! Although I only PR by like 2 seconds every race it's improvement. Then 4 hours later I ran the two mile.......oh boy. I was feeling really good and then at the 200m on lap 5 my legs gave out and I totally fell on the ground. It was really weird but I popped back up and was able to finish in second behind Lauren. It was a good overall race and I'm super excited to see what I can do at BYU/Skyridge!!

Also I was reading Elite Minds and there was an awesome quote, "Every race should be a liquidation sale. Everything goes. Everything. When the race is over, you should be empty. Hollow. Spent. Done. Nothing left. Once you are empty, all that is left is contentment." My goal for my next race is to give everything I have and to leave everything out there. No regrets. Ima qualify for state! Whoooooohoooooo!!! Go running!!!

Holy cow. Today was a weird day. My legs are toast and Teena gave me 43 pages of homework. Woe is me. That's fine. I'm over it. Definitley not bitter. Not stressed at all. Haha tomorrow will be a better day:) Ate ice cream and took and epsom salt bath and I felt 1000% better. Can't wait to race!!

Today we left for BYU and I am soooooo excited!! Did 3 miles around the Y (almost wore my Utah hat). Really great weather, felt amazing!

Today we ran to BYU from our hotel and it felt AMAZING! The weather was beautiful! Today Sam and Bailey ran the 2 mile and they killed it. Sam ran almost broke 11 with an 11:02!!!! Crazy crazy. Then we went to watch Beauty and the Beast at the mall and twas gr8. (The prince could have been better lol)

Today I ran the 1 mile at Skyridge!! Skyridge was the school I would have gone to if I didn't move so I was able to see some old friends:) I raced and I had a 4 second PR and I won my race! One thing that I did well is that I was patient the first lap and me and Haley were almost in last place the first 300m!! Then we both started passing people and it was super fun! One thing that I am going to do differently next race is really push myself the 3rd lap. Coach said that I was on pace for state the first 800 but I unconciously slowed down lap 3. I'm going to work on that for sure. I love running!!!

Today was a good day for running. I was able to stay a second or two behind Lily and the other girls and finished with them at the end. My legs were very tired tho. And then I went to work hahaha

We went and watched our girls and guys race the one mile and they did pretty good!! Lauren freaking killed it in the medley!!! Whoooohooooooooo!!!!! Way to go everyone! Super excited to race the 2 mile tomorrow!

Ugh. This race was definitley not my best. But that's okay because not every race is gonna be the greatest but as long as I am having fun and doing my best, it is TOTALLY WORTH IT. I am going to keep moving forward and have an awesome summer!

Noon-ish: Hiking in Zions!

PM: Partied hard at Senior Ball

Today the workout was pretty chill! We did the first 12 minutes at steady pace, then we went hard the last 3. Shawn Mendez was playing most of the time (#blest:) T'was a great time. Then for Senior Ball we went hiking in Zions and it was SOOOO PRETTY! I had never been and it was beautiful! Senior Ball was a party! Thanks Gibby!
